Seven string guitar
Alternative tunning in all fourth
Guitar evolution from six to seven or even more strings is natural and long expected way in development of this beautiful musical instrument.
Clasical six strings spanish guitar e-tuning has become so popular becouse of two important benefits: simple first position (for almost every important key) and simple chords.
On the other hand there are several problems with this nonunique tuning (four halftones from second to third string, five halftones on the others): difficulties in memorising huge number of chords and positions, nonsmoth position changings etc.
Solution for solo and comping quitar players (but maybe not for rhythm quitarists)is tuning in all fourth.
